The Office of Institutional Research serves as a comprehensive source for information about Dyersburg State Community College. The office

  • collects, comprehends, combines, and analyzes data pertaining to a range of operational activities at Dyersburg State Community College
  • maintains a historical database of this information.
  • assists with the systematic evaluation of educational programs, faculty educational support services, administrative processes, and financial and fiscal resources in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the institution. 
  • acts as a warehouse for information that may be used to sustain planning, policy formulation, and strategic decision-making.
  • supports the self-study process required for maintaining accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
  • coordinates the research and preparation of data and reports for submittal to IPEDS, Kansas Cost Study, Benchmark and to the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. collects and analyzes relative data from peer institutions.
