Theatre Department Faculty

Meleia Lewis been teaching at Dyersburg State since 1991.  Prior to her employment, she taught in an interim position at her undergraduate alma mater, Arkansas State University.  She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drama from ASU, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Directing from The University of Mississippi.  At Dyersburg State, she teaches all theatre classes, as well as several sections of Fundamentals of Speech.   Additionally, she designs and directs all DSCC Theatre Productions.

Michael Moore is an award winning actor, screenwriter, actor, director, designer, and teacher.  He is a produced and published playwright, as well.  He holds a BSEd from Abilene Christian University and and MFA in Playwriting from Texas Tech University.  He is also an alumnus of the first Kennedy Center Playwriting Intensive.

Moore teaches Introduction to Theatre at the Jimmy Naifeh Center.
